Architectural Grade. Professional Standards.
At 108 customs, we use premium architectural films (Cover Styl™, 3M™ Di-Noc) designed specifically for interior renovation. To ensure longevity and safety, the following specific terms apply to all interior projects.
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE
Installation Warranty (12 Months)
We guarantee that our application will not lift, peel, or bubble due to installation errors for a period of 12 months from completion.
Covered: Lifting edges, adhesion failure at corners, and bubbling.
Not Covered: Damage caused by physical impact (knives/scratches), heat damage (hot pans/steam), or water damage due to poor maintenance.
Material Durability (Manufacturer)
Architectural films are engineered for longevity. The manufacturer provides a limited warranty of up to 10 years against yellowing, cracking, or delamination.
2. CRITICAL KITCHEN CONDITIONS
Heat & Thermal Shock
Architectural film is heat-resistant up to ~100°C, but it is not heat-proof.
Hot Pans: Never place hot pots or pans directly on a wrapped worktop. Always use a coaster or trivet. Melted vinyl is not covered by warranty.
Small Appliances: Kettles, Toasters, and Air Fryers must not be used directly underneath wall cabinets. The concentrated steam/heat rising from these devices can cause the vinyl on the cabinets above to shrink or peel.
Water & Silicone Seals
Curing Time: After wrapping a worktop, we often apply fresh silicone sealant around sinks and hobs. You must not use the sink or get the area wet for 24 hours to allow the silicone to cure.
Maintenance: We are not liable for water damage to the underlying wood (chipboard/MDF) if the silicone seal is damaged by the user or degrades over time. Regular maintenance of silicone seals is the homeowner’s responsibility.
Cuts & Scratches
The film is durable but not scratch-proof. Do not cut food directly on the surface; always use a cutting board. Cuts in the film are considered user damage.
3. UTILITIES & APPLIANCES
Plumbing & Electricity
We are Wrappers, not Plumbers: We do not disconnect gas hobs, hard-wired ovens, or plumbing fixtures.
Access: If an appliance (like a gas hob) needs to be lifted to wrap underneath, the client must arrange for a certified professional to disconnect it prior to our arrival. If we cannot access an area safely, we will wrap up to the edge.
Sockets: We slightly loosen electrical socket covers to wrap behind them, but we do not rewire or move electrical points.
4. CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
How to Clean
Approved: Use warm water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent (e.g., dish soap) and a soft microfiber cloth.
PROHIBITED: Do not use abrasive sponges (scourers), bleach, Cif, ammonia, or solvent-based cleaners. These will damage the protective top layer of the film and void the warranty.
Stains: Strong substances (curry, tomato sauce, red wine) should be wiped up immediately to prevent permanent staining.
5. SUBSTRATE & LIABILITY
Condition of Existing Kitchen
Our wrap adheres to your existing surface. We are not liable for the structural integrity of your current kitchen cabinets.
Peeling Veneer: If your kitchen’s original foil/veneer is already loose or peeling (common in older kitchens), wrapping over it may cause the old layer to pull away. We will assess this beforehand, but the risk remains with the client.
Seams: For surfaces wider than the material roll (usually 122cm), a small overlap seam may be visible. This is a standard industry technique and is not a defect.
6. LOGISTICS (ON-SITE WORK)
Work Area Requirements
Since we work at your home/business, the environment must meet strict standards for a quality finish:
Temperature: The room must be heated to at least 20°C before our arrival. Cold vinyl becomes brittle and will not adhere.
Clearance: Please clear all worktops and empty the drawers/cupboards scheduled for wrapping.
Pets: Please keep pets away from the work area to prevent hair/dust contamination
